Returns & Exchanges

Return window: Within 30 days of delivery.

Condition: Items must be clean, undamaged, and in like-new condition with all parts, manuals, and packaging. For health & safety, please remove debris and wipe down before returning.

What’s not returnable

• Custom/modified items (e.g., special-order shortened handles).
• Items that are heavily used, damaged, altered, or missing parts.
• Final-sale or clearly marked clearance items.

Restocking (when applicable)

• New/unused in original packaging: 0% restocking.
• Opened/used but resellable: up to 15% restocking to cover cleaning/repackaging.
• Missing/damaged parts: we’ll deduct the actual replacement cost.

Who pays return shipping?

If we made a mistake or there’s a manufacturing defect, we’ll cover it.

Preference/fit returns: customer pays return shipping.

How to start a return

Contact us with your order # and reason.

We’ll issue an RMA and instructions.

Pack securely; include all parts and a copy of your order.

Once inspected, refunds typically post in 3–5 business days to the original payment method. (If you used financing/BNPL, refunds are processed through your provider.)

Original shipping fees are non-refundable. This includes the $35 flat-rate outbound shipping for the Shake’n Fork and any paid expedited methods.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Keep the packaging and include photos so we can file a claim and send a replacement quickly.

Shipping Regions

Lower 48 USA: Most items ship free; the motorized Shake’n Fork ships $35 flat rate.

Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Overseas: Please call before ordering for an accurate shipping quote. Returns/warranty shipments outside the lower 48 may require customer-paid freight and do not include free return labels.

Limited Warranty

We stand behind our tools against manufacturing defects under normal, intended use.

Coverage

• Tines (baskets): 13-month warranty against breakage.
• Handles/poles, motor, electronics, charger, hardware: 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
• Batteries (lithium-ion): 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. (Runtime decreases with age/temperature is normal wear, not a defect.)

What’s not covered

• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic scuffs, or discoloration.
• Damage from misuse, abuse, impacts, crushing, running over, chemicals/solvents, or alterations (including drilling/heat).
• Use outside intended conditions (e.g., sifting straw—which does not sift like shavings—and damage resulting from forcing unsuitable material).
• Commercial rental use without prior written approval.
• Lost or missing hardware/accessories after delivery.

Remedies

At our option, we will repair, replace, or credit the defective part/unit. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished of equal performance.

How to file a warranty claim

• Contact us with order #, photos/video of the issue, and a brief description.
• We may request the part back for inspection (we’ll advise if a return label is provided).
• Once approved, we’ll ship the replacement. (Lower 48 outbound ground shipping is typically covered by us; outside that region, shipping charges may apply.)

Best-Use & Care Notes (Helps Avoid Issues)

Shake’n Fork (motorized): Hold steady and let the tines vibrate—do not manually shake the handle. Use the variable-speed trigger so it only shakes as hard as needed.

Bedding: Fine bedding (pellets, mini-flakes, sawdust) sifts best. Straw does not sift like shavings—this is not a product defect.

Cleaning: Rinse/wipe after use; store dry. Avoid harsh chemicals/solvents.

Battery: Charge at room temperature; avoid deep discharge/storage in extreme heat or sub-freezing conditions.

Cold climates: Fiberglass poles don’t absorb water or freeze; allow batteries to warm to room temperature before charging.
